Course Description

Ableton Live 5-day Bootcamp will guide you to have trendy, modern producing techniques for your music with the complete preparation for a live performance. With its user-friendly interface, you will experience the innovative, time-effective way of producing your own songs. Throughout the course, you will create and build-up your own sound using its essential tools such as Simpler & Sampler and Max for Live and feel your music at your fingertips using Ableton Live with Push. Also, with its powerful features such as session view and warp tools, you will be able to prepare your live performance along with producing your own music. All prospective students are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced musicians who wish to sharpen their skills and broaden the field.

Ableton Live 5-day Bootcamp includes 40 hours of lecture with the Ableton Certified Trainer & sing-a-song writer – Minju Kim ( a.k.a. KxxHz ) – and also provides the individual feedback and support from interactive peer assessments and the instructor. Also, you will get unlimited personal lab time on campus.

3. Drum 
- Drum Theory, Basic Drum Score, Ableton Drum Rack, Push Pad Drum, Drum Production 

4. Finger Drumming with Push
- Use of Fingers and Pad Layout, Practice Methods, Basic Drum Beat Exercises for Various Genres

Instructor - Minju Kim ( a.k.a KxxHz )

Ableton Certified Trainer, Minju Kim ( a.k.a. KxxHz ), graduated from the Graduate School of Performing Arts at EWHA Womans University with a master degree of music engineering.

Working as a singer song-writer “ KxxHz, ” she produced several albums; ‘Like you’ was used as a soundtrack of tvN TV show ‘Rude Miss Young Ae Season 14, ’ and many songs from her instrumental music project ‘ Cafe Tube ’ were on air for MBC ‘ We Got Married, ’ tvN ‘ Youth Over Flowers, ’ and tvN ‘ Three Meals a Day. ’ Also, she was in charge of arrangement and computer programing for the musical ‘ Hair Spray ’ and ‘ Les Miserables ’ and composed background music of ‘ Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, ’ ‘ Kyobo Life Insurance, ’ and ‘ Samsung Innovation.’

Kim has also actively engaged as a vocal director; she took charge for Yong Junhyung of Highlight, Kevin & Kibum of U-kiss, Garam, Hyunmin, In-jun of DGNA, actor Hae-jin Park and Jung-myung Chun.
